Ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup™, MLS Productions set out to tell the stories of impactful MLS stars and their connections to their nations and national teams with the Cup Dreams series. Name & Number was tasked with telling the special story of Patrick Yazbek. Over the last two years, Patrick has become a vital part of Nashville SC - the kind of player teammates and coaches point to as the standard-setter - while simultaneously earning his place with the Socceroos and playing a key role in Australia’s World Cup qualifying campaign.

We planned and produced the content in Nashville and Sydney, where Patrick Yazbek and his family opened their homes, their hearts, and their family photo albums to us. What came back was one of the more moving stories we’ve had the privilege of telling.

Unfortunately, Patrick suffered an injury one month before the tournament saw his World Cup dreams cut short... for now. Patrick will be back, and we're confident he’ll wear the green and gold for Australia at the 2030 World Cup.
