Our friends at Borussia Dortmund tasked us with producing a mini-documentary to tell the story of Zander Kennedy, a 15-year-old BVB International Academy player who survived a nearly-fatal car crash that left him with brain bleeds, a broken back, memory loss, and a broken dream to play college soccer.

 

We flew down to Dallas for a two-day shoot to meet the Kennedy family and the BVB International Academy staff and coaches who gave Zander the support he needed in his fight to return to the pitch - which he did in style!
